8 April 2013: York to Edinburgh

MONDAY
Mom's French press coffee for breakfast. Cobbled alley next to where our car was parked.
Heading out of York. Keep apart 2 chevrons along the A1. 
SAY NO to building on the Green Built. Driving through Northumberland National Park.
Baby sheep. Last Café in England.
Catcleugh Resevoir.
Welcome to Scotland. Fàilte gu Alba. Pull off at the border to have a picnic lunch in the car.
A view of the Whitelee Moor National Park from the border pull-off area. A Scotsman playing the bagpipe was strategically located at the border and selling cds that are "feet tapping gauranteed"... note the typo.
Back on the road and passing beautiful scenery.
Caution Low Temperature. Drive with Care. Approaching Edinburgh.
Arrive at our destination in Edinburgh.
Board the bus. Get off in the city center.
A sticker and Scott's Monument, named after Sir Walter Scott. Someone left their sign on the ground.
Dinner at a pub, The Malt Shovel. The pitcher of water came with lemon, lime, and orange slices.
Salisbury Crags and a row of houses.
