The University of Bath hosts Joseph Nye as part of a free lecture series. Nye presents a lecture titled "Presidents and American Policy" where he investigates the influence of leaders and asks the question of whether the US would have been the dominant country in the twentieth century regardless of who was president.
I am continually astonished by the general inability of the British to take responsibility for their garbage. Note, there is another garbage can five yards away and some of the items on the ground can be recycled.
Walk back to the city center from the university via the public footpath and enjoy a beautiful view of Bath at sunset.
