20 November 2012: Setting up for the Christmas Market, International Student Reception

TUESDAY
Across the street, a worker is nailing a tarp down on the roof.
Camerada, a Bath photography group, has an exhibition in the Walcot Chapel.
A group of umbrella adorn tourists begin their tour as workers put up the Christmas tree.
Extra bins are ready for the extra debris that will come with the opening of the Christmas market.
The pink sign on the door reads Starts this Thursday.
Vendors have to pass a check point before they can start setting up.
A reception at the Pump Room hosted by the Mayor of Bath for international students.
The mayor shook our hands and asked what country we were from as we entered.
There was red wine, white wine, orange juice, and mingling.
The mayor, in the grey robe and livery collar, went around and chatted with students. He impressed me with his people skills, he remembered what countries everyone was from.
There were short speeches by the mayor, his wife, and an international student. Then we visited the Roman Baths.
Conversation work in progress.
There was a bit of a drizzle as we walked around the bath by torch light.
Christmas light reflections.
