17 November 2012: Alexandra Park, Bath, England

SATURDAY
Walked through town, then up many stairs to Alexandra Park.
A view of the Abbey from 400 feet on this overcast day.
The black strip in the middle is the sea of shoppers. Looking northeast one can spot of the train tracks and the Avon River.

Combe is a British word meaning valley. A number of Bath neighborhoods end in combe. The word has a Celtic origin and in Old English it was spelled cumb

Two policemen standing at the top of Milson Street; I saw them about five minutes later stopping a young looking girl coming out of a bar.
