10 agosto 2013: Patones de Arriba

SÁBADO
Driving to northeastern Madrid to the secluded village of Patones de Arriba.
Patones was the only Spanish village not occupied by Napolean, because it was hidden in the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains.

Dried thistle.
Fig tree.
The drive back to Majadahonda.
At the bakery to get bread. My things.
Tourists taking photos of the sunset from Templo de Debod in Madrid. Botellón, drinking in public areas, started in the 1980s in response to rising prices of drinks in bars and clubs. They take place away from residential areas to prevent noise disturbance.
A tile of the Madrid symbol. A renting ad on the ground.
