28 September 2012: New York City and over the Atlantic

FRIDAY

Checking out of the hostel. I put my bags in a locker.

I rode the subway to the bottom of Manhattan to South Port.

At 8:46 am, the doors opened for the walk on passengers to board the ferry.

Subway ticket kiosk. The subway was empty leaving South Port, because I waited for the second train leaving the station following the arrival of the ferry.

Arrived at 96th street. Please curb your dog signs are everywhere.

The sign reads: please do not park bicycles here.

Central Park. An apartment building.

Sign reads: No Loitering, No Music Playing. No Trespassing.

Picked up my luggage at the hostel. Took the subway toward the airport.

Subway musician. Caught the E train to the AirTrain.
