27 September 2012: New York City

THURSDAY
I walked down the street with commuters and parents walking their children to the bus stop. I was off to the British Consulate.
There was a small drizzle, but umbrellas were still rather noticeable in the crowd.
I arrive at the British Consulate General on 845 3rd Avenue and drop off my visa paperwork.
Art students watercoloring the surrounds at Madison Square Park. A profession leaning over the student on the right.
Elegant exterior of Home Depot.
Eat Yor Veggies. NYC McDonald's.
From the Brooklyn Bridge I took the subway up to 51st Street to return to the Consulate.
Walking back to the Consulate from the subway to pick up my passport with the UK visa.
Grand Central Station has an Apple Store.
The East River.
VIPS in black town cars and SUVs pull up to the Library, which was closed for a special event.
Bryant Park.
Prince Charle's created a Campaign for Wool to promote the natural benefits of using the material.
Thirty sheep grazed on the lawn. The Fountain Terrace was covered with wool-art.
Bustling Times Square.
Shake Shack had a line at least twenty people deep out the door.
New York Philharmonic. Gathering going on inside the New York Film Festival.
One of the several grocery stores I stopped in to pick up something for dinner, though I walked out because the line was too long.
I finally picked something up at The Food Emporium.
