27 October : Prior Park

SATURDAY
Walking to Prior Park.
Day One of Heritage Open Week. Entrance to the park is decorated for Halloween.
From October 27th  to November 4th, museums are open for free to residence of Bath and the county of North East Somerset. In addition, there are various activities going on at the heritage sites in conjunction with Open Week.
Prior Park was influenced by the landscape garden movement of the 18th Century. It was built between 1734 and 1764 by a Bath businessman, Ralph Allen. 
Man-made grotto that was used for entertaining back in its time.

Palladian bridge. Palladianism is a design philosophy of  16th century Italian architect, Andreas Palladio, who was influence by Ancient Roman architecture.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds had a booth and binoculars for observing the birds at Prior Park.

FRIDAY
On the way to school, I passed a sideholder doing double duty.
Roof repairs in part the library.
On the bus, returning from the university.
The Big Green Parcel Machine.
The new stone installation in front of the Abbey marks stops along the Cotswold Way National Trail. The outer rings reads Jeremiah 6:16.

25 October 2012: Bath, England

THURSDAY
There is a wonderful scent of mothballs every time I walk passed this second-hand store.
Diabetes informational tent set up in the street.
Went to a tea house with one of my classmates.
Ironwork. Snowflake lights.
Got a Bath residence card at One Stop Shop. Worker picking up street debris.

24 October 2012: Bath, England

WEDNESDAY
Workers replacing cobbles. Some motorbikes.
Walked through Hedgemead Park located right by my abode.
This is the second restroom that I have come upon on campus that has a shower; there are actually three shower stalls in this restroom.
The Christmas lights cast a shadow on the wall of the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Disease, which was established in 1739 by an act of parliament.
