Station open day here on: Sunday 21 July from 11am. I have been walking by this sign outside the fire station for well over a month and I can't believe how fast time has gone.
The event drew an audience of parents and young children. Yellow fireman hats were given away and children had the opportunity to spray a fire hose, climb into a fire engine, etc.

A skiff is a traditional type of rowing boat adapted for leisure use on inland waterways: long, graceful and slender for speed, but broad enough for stability and comfort. It dates back to the early to mid-1800s. The oarsman sits in the center; the passengers, meanwhile, sit back in comfort and steer the boat with a pair of ropes manipulating the rudder.
