The sidewalk improvements continue.
Sally Lunn's bakery is located in the oldest house in Bath built in 1482. Sally lived here in 1680.
As part of Heritage Week, I sampled the buns and checked out the small museum located in the cellar.
The Mayor's Parlour in City Hall was open to visitors.
The parlour is still used by the mayor to welcome guests.
Box of peppercorns from 1964 to 1985 that were given to the City by the University of Bath as part of a peppercorn agreement concerning the leasing of the land. Peppercorn rent is a very low or nominal rent that has been used in England for almost 200 years.
Ceremonial to the laying of the first stone of the Municipal Buildings in 1893.
Bath's first city charter was signed and sealed by Richard I [Lionheart] in 1189.
Bath has four sister (In the UK, it's referred to as "twin") city exchanges: Aix-en-Provence, France; Alkmaar, Netherlands; Braunschweig, Germany; Kaposvár, Hungary.
