8 décembre 2012: Sarlat-la-Canéda and Brive-la-Gaillarde

SATURDAY
Driving through Sarlat on the way to Brive.

"Le steak-house sérieusement à l’Ouest." Nothing says "the West" like "assiette foie gras."
Cultura, a French bookstore/craft store chain. I ran into the principal of École de la Canéda, small world.
Où est Charlie? (Where is Waldo). "Lucky Luke," a Franco-Belgium comic set in the American old West.

A lot of traffic heading to Carrefour.
A couple putting a Christmas tree in the back of their van. Clowns serenading Santa.
Heading back to Sarlat. Driving pass a Sarlat roundabout.
Opening day of Sarlat's marché de Noël.
Reindeer.
Sleigh and reindeer lights. Dream catcher.
Stereotypical view of "natives."
Patisserie.
City Hall. Cathedral off the in the distance.
Played Scrabble. Listened and followed along to a lovely Christmas book that takes place in Sarlat, Solila: le sapin qui n'avait que deux branches.
